ENDURORIDER PRO COMP MC33- F.I.M. Approved
Characteristics of a tyre, or what was the focus of Sava development
When developing this tyre the purpose was to achieve a balanced functioning of the front and rear motorcycle wheel.
The robust construction of a tyre is resistant to punctures, which is particularly important when driving across the terrain where the inflation pressure in a tyre reduces drastically, even well below 1 bar.
Owing to the reinforced basis of tread pattern blocks, tyres endure all loads much easier, while the chance for the blocks to fall-out is reduced. Tread pattern blocks are placed in transversal rows to assure traction when riding uphill and downhill, whereas their arrangement and shape assure an outstanding lateral grip at transverse crossing of the terrain with high gradients, as well as at accelerating and braking during cornering. Thanks to the ideal shape of tread pattern blocks braking distances are as short as possible and the steering performance during braking optimal.
With regard to the appearance of these tyres, we took the liberty of introducing several design features to clearly distinguish the PRO COMP MC33 from the tyres manufactured by our competitors. These special features are: the imprinted Sava logotype among trade pattern blocks and an enduro motorcycle outline on a tyre sidewall to indicate the intended use. Furthermore, the rotation direction on the tyre tread pattern and sidewalls provides a clear recommendation for tyre mounting.
Various tests have shown that a soft rubber compound (ES1) proves most effective as it maintains its performance characteristics throughout the race and assures an optimum grip under all driving conditions.
PRO COMP MC33 tyres are available in three sizes and two various compound types:
Front 90/90-21 54 R TT ENDURO PRO COMP MC33 (F.I.M.)
Rear 140/80-18 70 R TT ENDURO PRO COMP MC33 (F.I.M.)
Rear 120/90-18 65 R TT ENDURO PRO COMP MC33 (F.I.M.)
Compounds:
• ES1 (enduro soft)
Recommended for driving on soft surfaces, mud, grass, forest roads, soft soil, endure racing
• EH1 (enduro hard)
Recommended for driving on hard surfaces, gravel, macadam, rocky terrain
Tyres are manufactured according to the F.I.M. regulations.
